Vivero Maguarichi, Chihuahua

Hola! I recently had the opportunity to travel for work to the state of Chihuahua (no, not just a small dog). Copper Canyon runs through Chihuahua and I was working in the area. Here we stopped by Divisadero at sunset for the photo opp. Gorgeous canyon! The first proyect I visited was a vivero (plant nursery) in Maguarichi. The project members are all women and they are planning to grow tomatoes and chiles for consumption and sale, as well as cactus for replanting in the area.

The area has some spectacular rock formations too! Great scenery to be working in!
