Las Águilas

Hola! Well, after several days cooped up and avoiding the swine flu, we started to get a little stir crazy! One day we ventured a couple hours from Guadalajara to "Las Águilas" (the eagles) a.k.a. Stone Hedge of Mexico, according to at least one author! The eagle part are the 3 predominant rocks that (supposedly) form the body and wings of the eagle. The rest of rocks standing on end all around us were pretty impressive too! We had fun hiking and climbing around! We lunched in a nice little town on the way back that afternoon...of course, most everything was closed due to the flu!
