Paracutin Volcanoe

The Paracutin Volcanoe errupted very slowly along time ago, allowing the nearby townspeople to escape, but covering their town in lava, which left only the church tower showing above the lava field! You can see it in the distance in one of the photos. We hiked up to the top of the (still smoking) volcanoe. Great views!
