San Luis Potosi

On our way back from La Huasteca to Guadalajara, we stopped at the half way point, the capital city of San Luis Potosi. We stayed right in the heart of the colonial center. This night view of the main plaza with "Feliz Navidad" in the distance is the view from our room the night we arrived. We really enjoyed this colonial city with lots of beautiful cathedrals and architecture and nice museums...mostly free on Sundays! One museum had a neat exhibit of U.S. photographer Edward S. Curtis photos of Native Americans.
