Baja

We went to Baja to do some whale watching...one of my "must sees" in Mexico. Unfortunately, this first photo is a picture of a picture and NOT what we really saw. It's what we wanted to see! What we actually saw is more like the second photo...a whale tale in the distance. We saw 5 of these whales in 3 days. Not exactly the whale petting boat side that they promote, but still pretty cool! We also enjoyed the yummy local food - fish tacos and Pacifico beer! Delicious! On one of our boat rides we stopped at Coronado Island and hiked to the top of the volcanoe for some excellent views of the bay below.
