whirlwind...

Long time no blog...but my life has not been very blog worthy of late. Pictures of me sending out resumes? Not so intereting. Anyway, on a quick interview trip I had the opportunity to see my family briefly and give Nate a Chivas cap for an early birthday present. He looks great in it! And I got to see the quilt mom made for Nate. Nice! Hard work! And we had a good family dinner out before I was on my way again. I passed through Portland for a few hours and popped in on Nicole and Lily for an hour... and a prego Kim popped in on us! Good timing! 3 for 1! Lily was hamming it up and fun to watch. Such a happy little girl!
Next stop was Cali for a baby shower for good friend Kristen over the weekend. I hadn't seen her in over 3 years and didn't tell her I was coming. And her loving sister Shannon kept mum! Good job Shan. Surprise!! Based on the screaming, I think she was surprised! What fun we had catching up - the old Sacto crew! And Kristen looks great sportin the baby bump! And then in the same whirlwind fashion that I arrived...I was on my way again back to Guadalajara.
